Technical Design P2

The Boeing Company is now hiring an Early Career Level position for Technical Design in the Saint Louis area.

This position will have the opportunity to work with a variety of Boeing Divisions, including but not limited to; Strike, Surveillance and Mobility, Autonomous Systems and Phantom Works. Great opportunities exist on the F-15, F/A-18, 777X, Missile and Weapons, Phantom Works research and development, and other programs. As a structural tech design engineer, you will be exposed to many exciting opportunities and challenges.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Uses manual or Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools to develop and maintain mechanical/structural engineering product definition.
  • Assists in preparation of basic design layouts.
  • Modifies existing designs.
  • Assists in the coordination and development work transfer packages for relevant parties.
  • Verifies accuracy of non-technical data.
  • Investigates and resolves routine manufacturing process or engineering related issues.
  • Supports the maintenance of new processes and procedures by providing input related to routine aspects of the maintenance process.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C. F. R. 120. 15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Typical Education/Experience:

AA degree in related discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
