Early Career Accountant

The Boeing Company is in search of new teammates to join the Accounts Receivable (AR) team in St. Louis, MO. The Accounts Receivable Analyst is a unique position at the center of business processes crucial to the Company s cash flow. The Accounts Receivable Program Analyst has the primary function for interim & closeout contract invoicing to Boeing s external Defense & Commercial customers in accordance with how the contract terms. While performing these tasks, AR Program Analysts must recognize revenue in the appropriate manner while ensuring compliance with GAAP, SOx and Government regulations FAR/DFAR. This Accounts Receivable position requires review of contractual language, partnership with various Finance functions such as Contracts, Financial Controls, Financial Operations, and Sales & Earnings Accounting. This position also allows opportunity to engage with our government customers to address invoicing & contract closeout matters in order to resolution of invoicing issues. As an Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst, you will gain Boeing business knowledge around the requirements to invoice various types of contracts such as Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus, etc. awarded either domestically or internationally and assist the business partners with cash forecasting as well as ensuring that revenue is recognized and recorded properly. In addition, AR Analysts have the opportunity to gain an understanding of Government funding practices and an appreciation for Boeing Businesses and Products.

Qualifications

Typical Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Basic Qualifications:

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C. F. R. 120. 15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting or Finance

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of Accounting or Finance work related experience Microsoft Office
